What is McLeod for Tomorrow?

Complex challenges are impacting the communities in which we live.  Addressing these challenges requires leaders equipped with new tools and resources for decision making and citizen action.

The county has partnered with University of Minnesota Extension to assist the group with the content and design of the program.

Mission Statement:

McLeod For Tomorrow
McLeod For Tomorrow

Leadership Program

Serves as an opportunity for community members throughout the county to network while developing leadership skills and gathering knowledge of the trends, challenges and issues that face our communities and McLeod County.

McLeod For Tomorrow

Elected Official Forums

Three meetings are held annually for public officials from throughout the county. Representatives from the county, cities, townships, and school districts as well as local legislators are invited to learn together and from each other about existing and emerging issues in which they all have a stake.

Workshops/Seminars

Countywide workshops and seminars are offered to convene community leaders and residents around identified civic issues and needs. The events provide knowledge that builds community capacity while promoting discussion, networking, sharing of resources and exchange between leaders and citizens.
